A Vision Test

  • Build A Planning Team
  • Develop My Event Planning Committee
  • Set Meeting Dates in Advance to Plan Event
  • Design Custom Timeline and tasks to be completed with deadlines
  • Assign/Delegate Tasks
  • Who is coming?
  • What ticket prices should we charge?
  • How long do we need to accomplish our tasks – Most fundraising events require 6 months to 1 year to maximize effectiveness.

Define Your Cause: Tell a Great Story . . .

Ask the Passionate People For Their Personal Experiences With the Cause

Today,  in America, 5.4 million people have Alzheimer’s–To take proper care of these 5.4 million people requires about 15 million unpaid caregivers, mostly family members as well as paid care-giving nurses  in the nation’s nursing homes. The Alzheimer’s Association reckons the cost of all this care  runs about $183 billion a year.   Sadly, most of these patients  need daily aid in  getting out of bed, dressing, feeding themselves, getting to the toilet and other simple acts we all take for granted.

Unless a cure is found– and there is no hope of one today– the number of sufferers from some form of dementia will  triple to nearly 15 million.

Meet Ellen…with the plummeting economy, her pension plan has taken a severe hit, while her medical expenses and drug costs have sky-rocketed.

Ellen’s situation is placing her housing situation in jeopardy and putting extra stress and strain on the facility that is taking care of her.  They are already understaffed and supplies are limited, that make it extra challenging to service their residents effectively. A widow, she  has no where to go, but what’s the nursing facility to do?
